Home Inspection

The home inspection includes a visual examination of the overall grade, grade within five feet of the foundation walls, sidewalks, driveways, patios, decks, siding, exterior windows and doors, garage, roof, chimneys, flues, flashing, soil stack, framing, attic, insulation, ventilation, walls, ceilings, floors, bathrooms, plumbing, fixtures, appliances, water heater, furnace, heat exchanger, air conditioner, electrical wiring, panel box, foundation and structure. In addition a carbon monoxide test, a natural gas leak test, and a moisture test will be performed.

The cost of the basic inspection is based on the size of the home, the age, type of construction, location, basement, crawl spaces and special features etc. Prices start at $195.00 (modern one bedroom apartment with shared heating).

Radon, water testing, lead paint testing, lead risk assessments are available with additional fees.
